”Invalid code” error

  • Check for typos. Codes are 12 characters, mixed letters and numbers. Zero and letter O look similar; so do one and letter l.
  • Check whether the code was already used. Provisioning codes are one-time-use. If you already activated successfully on this or another machine, the code is spent.
  • Check with your manager that the code wasn’t revoked (revoking a rep invalidates their code).

If all three check out, ask your manager to Reissue the code.

”Code expired” error

Codes expire 7 days after issue if unused. Ask your manager to reissue.

I activated on the wrong machine

Each code is tied to the first machine that activates it. If you used it on a personal laptop by mistake and need it on your work laptop:

  1. Uninstall RingMentor from the personal machine.
  2. Ask your manager to Revoke and reissue your code.
  3. Install on the correct machine and activate with the new code.

The app says “Revoked”

Your manager has revoked your access. Contact them directly — this isn’t something support can override.
