Provisioning reps

TODO: Fill in with real portal screenshots once Saturday build ships the reps page.

The flow

  1. In the portal, go to Reps → Add rep.
  2. Enter the rep’s name and email.
  3. Click Generate provisioning code. The portal shows a one-time code (12 characters).
  4. Copy the code. Send it to the rep along with the install link.

Revoking access

If a rep leaves the team or loses their laptop:

  1. Go to Reps.
  2. Find the rep.
  3. Click Revoke. The desktop app on that machine will stop working within a few minutes.

Reissuing a code

If a rep lost their code before activating:

  1. Go to Reps.
  2. Click Reissue code on the rep’s row.
  3. The old code is invalidated, a new one generated.

If the rep already activated, they don’t need a new code — their app is already tied to their machine.
